There are many ways for everyone to get involved with ReTree Nebraska! Here are just a few more ideas. We welcome your suggestions too...please contact us to let us know your ideas about how you think individuals, government and community organizations, educational institutions and businesses can become a part of ReTree Nebraska!

Individuals

1. Join the ReTree Initiative by becoming a ReTree Ambassador.
2. Plant trees and plant them properly!
3. Plant trees to honor or memorialize someone.   
4. Give trees good care. 
5. Spread the word!  Tell others about the value of trees and the ReTree Initiative.
6. Donate time and energy to local tree planting organizations or projects.
7. Donate funds to support local tree planting and care initiatives.
8. Start your own neighborhood or community tree planting effort.
9. Become a member of the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum (NSA).

1. Join the ReTree Initiative by becoming a corporate ambassador.
2. Plant trees and plant them properly!
3. Help give trees good care! 
4. Give employees incentives to plant trees on their own time.
5. Organize and encourage employees for prominent local tree planting efforts.
6. Donate funds to support local tree planting and care initiatives.
7. Spread the word!  Tell others about the value of trees and the ReTree Initiative.
8. Become a corporate member of the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum.
9. ReTree your corporate campus

1. Join the ReTree Initiative by becoming a ReTree Community.
2. Plant lots of trees and plant them properly.
3. Ensure that governmental employees charged with tree care are properly trained and motivated to give good care to public trees.
4. Dedicate or increase budget allocations to tree planting and care.
5. Start a tree board, or if one already exists, empower and embolden it. 
6. Develop workable and creative community forestry plans, policies and ordinances.
7. Increase the stature of trees as an important community utility (green infrastructure).
8. Spread the word!  Promote tree planting and care through public outreach efforts (radio/TV/newspaper, utility billings, signage, etc.) and tell others about the ReTree initiative.
9. Organize and encourage employees to be involved in prominent local tree planting efforts.
10. Become a Tree City USA community.
11. ReTree your campus.
12. Start an arboretum.
13. Become an Associate Member of the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum.
